Welcome

"Brethren, be contentious and zealous for the things which lead to salvation! You have studied the Holy Scriptures, which are true and are of the Holy Spirit. You well know that nothing unjust or fraudulent is written in them." - St. Clement, Letter to the Corinthians, 96 AD

Welcome to Truth In Catholicism! The Bible is a group of 73 books that the early Catholic Church canonized. They are the books which contain the truth of God's Revelation and were composed by human authors inspired by the Holy Spirit. Just as the Holy Spirit inspired the authors of the Bible and kept them from writing anything in error, so too the Holy Spirit ensured that those books and letters which were written were infallibly compiled into the Bible we have today.

The Bible records salvation history from the beginning of time, to the end of time. The climax of this story took place 2000 years ago in the ancient Near East. The Bible studies here will teach you about this story of salvation, because you, dear reader, are in need of a Savior. If you are not a member of God's family, we hope that you will take the time to read "The Plan of Salvation".

Each Bible study is designed to take 15 minutes to read through and follows a Catholic membership class (RCIA) format. It provides ideas for you to think about, Scripture passages for you to look at and discussion points for you to consider. You can ask any questions you have at the Catechetics Online Forums.

You can also listen to our podcasts from an actual RCIA class, but the podcasts themselves do not replace your need to attend RCIA in your diocese if you intend to become Catholic.
